Caught in the Current

Mixed Media Mono-printing is a rare technique of painting. The first stage is to create a singular oil print on glass which is transferred to paper or canvas. This base image is then hand painted with watercolour or acrylic inks.

The “Island Series” explores man’s complicated relationship with Bonaire’s natural environment.

In this piece, whimsical figures are caught in the swirling current of the Caribbean waters.
